2024 Baker Bowl

The annual Baker Bowl hosted the Canadians for another successful weekend at the beautiful Piping Rock Club on their excellent grass courts.

The event is special because it’s between friendly countries.

The Canadians brought a small but strong team and prevailed 4 to 2 against the US team. One match was decided in a 3rd set tie breaker. 

There were also several “friendly” matches, both men’s and mixed doubles.

The dinner included the traditional speeches and team introductions. Special recognition went to Tim Griffin of the Canadian team who went to the Senior ITF World Championships and won the 75’s team event, the doubles and was finalist in the 75 singles.
